What is FIRST® Tech Challenge?
FIRST® Tech Challenge (FTC) is way more than building robots. FIRST Tech Challenge teams (up to 15 team members, grades 7-12) are challenged to design, build, program, and operate robots to compete in a head-to-head challenge in an alliance format.
Guided by adult coaches and mentors, students develop STEM skills and practice engineering principles, while realizing the value of hard work, innovation, and working as a team.
The robot kit is reusable from year to year and can be coded using a variety of levels of Java-based programming. Teams design and build robots, raise funds, design and market their team brand, and do community outreach to earn specific awards. Participants are eligible to apply for $80M+ in college scholarships.

In the DECODE™ season, teams will investigate the power of the world's artifacts and unlock mysteries in a new challenge.

FIRST Tech Challenge Vietnam (FTC VN) is an official regional championship in Vietnam, where two teams awarded Inspire Award and 1st Place Alliance Captain will advance to the FIRST World Championship.
We're welcome international teams! Especially those from Southeast Asia: Philippines, Myanmar (Burma), Malaysia, Cambodia, Laos, Singapore, Timor-Leste (East Timor), Brunei Darussalam.
Last season, we had teams from Laos and Indonesia.
Who can join the championship
- Rookie (new) teams
- Veteran (returning) teams from FIRST Tech Challenge Vietnam 2023-2025
- International teams, whose region DOES NOT have a regional championship.

Registration fee: $200 USD (~5,000,000 VNĐ) for all teams - Financial Aid available: Form (Due: EOD 24/11/2025, UTC+7)
