FIRST® Tech Challenge
is more than just building robots. Teams (up to 15 team members, grades 7-12) participate in the challenge to design, build, program, and operate robots to compete in leagues. The robot kits are reusable from year to year and can be programmed in various levels of the Java language. In addition to designing and building robots, teams also participate in fundraising, branding, communications, and community outreach to win various prizes.
Guided by coaches and mentors, students can develop STEM skills and practice mechanical design principles, while also embracing values such as hard work, creativity, and teamwork. With
Gracious Professionalism®,
students are encouraged to create their team's identity and become ambassadors for FIRST and STEM in their own communities.
Each season will conclude with regional tournaments and the FIRST Championship in the United States.

FIRST Tech Challenge Vietnam is the official FTC competition held in Vietnam under the license of FIRST in the United States.
FIRST Tech Challenge Vietnam aims to create a technological playground to encourage Vietnamese students' learning spirit, creativity, and social awareness. At the same time, it seeks to inspire and motivate students to study, practice, and apply new technologies, contributing to building a high-quality workforce to meet the demands of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
FIRST Tech Challenge Vietnam is organized by the FPT Education Organization and FPT University, with the cooperation and support of the Vietnamese community of engineers and technology experts, as well as young people from the FIRST network in Vietnam and around the world.
FIRST IN SHOW: The season theme - think spotlights, costume, and dramatic flair. It provides branding materials and sets the stage for the whole season
CENTERSTAGE: The game challenge - robots perform on theatrical field, collecting pixels, painting mosaics, moving props, and wowing the audience. It's about robot design, strategy and teamwork.

- All teams must register through FIRST's official registration system to obtain a team number and be officially recognized as a FIRST team, allowing them to place orders from PITSCO.
- Teams then need to register with FIRST Tech Challenge Vietnam to participate in the Vietnam Championship tournament.
- Outstanding team members who win the Inspire Award at FIRST Tech Challenge Vietnam will be sponsored to attend the FTC World Championship in the U.S. in April 2023.
- Teams must use FIRST's system to order from
PITSCO
or other platform like
goBILDA,
REV Robotics,
Servocity, and
AndyMark.
