FIRST Tech Challenge Vietnam
2023-2024
FIRST® Tech Challenge is a global robotics competition for young people. The 2019-2020 season had nearly
700,000 participants from over 100 countries.
This year, FIRST Tech Challenge officially appears in Vietnam for the first time. Licensed by FIRST in the
US, FIRST Tech Challenge Vietnam is a national technology competition to select the champion sponsored to
participate in FIRST Tech Challenge in the US in 2024.
The theme of the FIRST Tech Challenge and FIRST Tech Challenge Vietnam competition: “CENTERSTAGE” - the role
of STEM in the fields of art, creativity, entertainment, while responding to and enhancing awareness of the
interdisciplinary nature of Art with the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
Volunteer Requirement
- Fluent in English (reading and writing)
- Above 18 years old/li>
- Make a commitment to finish as volunteer through out the event from 24/02/2024
- Make a commitment to participate in online training sessions from 02 - 18/01/2024 (about 3 hours/week)
- Love to share knowledge and connect with people around the world
- Having skills in robotics is an advantage (especially programming, mechanics, electronics), but not required
Volunteers must always behave based on the spirit of Gracious Professionalism, Kindness, honesty, and transparency. This is an international event that brings together many people from all over the world, so it is important to be polite and respectful to everyone.
