What is FIRST®

FIRST® (Full name: For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a global youth organization that hosts FIRST Robotics, FIRST LEGO League Challenge, FIRST LEGO League Explore, FIRST LEGO League Discover and FIRST Tech Challenge.

Founded in 1989 by Dean Kamen and Woodie Flowers, the organization is dedicated to develop inspirational methods for students in the fields of engineering and technology. FIRST's core values is Coopertition and Gracious Professionalism.
